How do I play?

Two pictures from the same scene are shown side by side (stacked when a phone is held upright). Tap a difference on either picture to circle it. Find them all to clear the level. A wrong tap costs one of your 5 hearts (3 on HARD levels); if you run out, retry the level with a fresh set of differences.

The differences are tiny. How do I zoom?

Pinch, or use the mouse wheel or trackpad, to zoom up to 2.6x, and drag to move around. Both pictures move together. The zoom button takes you on a quick tour of the picture.

I'm stuck. Is there a hint?

Yes. Tap the hint button and a spotlight shows you one difference. You get a hint for every finished chapter, from daily rewards and the weekly league, one back every 90 minutes while you have fewer than 3, and you can buy more with the gold you earn by playing.

What are the chapters and the album?

Every 10 scenes tell a short story. Finish a chapter to add its photo card to your album; tap a finished card to watch its scenes again as a slideshow.

Who are the players in the weekly league?

The characters from the stories. The league runs on your device and resets every Monday; the top places earn hints and a frame for the next week.

Is my progress saved?

Yes, automatically, on your device, including your level, gold, hints, album and profile. Deleting the app deletes its progress.

Does it need the internet, or have ads or purchases?

Double Take plays fully offline, with no ads, no accounts and no in-app purchases. Gold is earned only by playing.

Can I change the language, or turn off music, sound or vibration?

Yes. Tap the gear for Settings. Double Take speaks English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Polish, Russian, Turkish and Japanese.

Privacy

Double Take sends anonymous gameplay statistics, which you can turn off at Settings → Share anonymous stats. Read the privacy policy.
