How do I play?

Tap (or click, on a Mac) to fire glowing balls into the rock. Every block they break earns glim; spend it on more balls and skills in the Skills menu. In Open World, dig as far as you like and hunt the Golden Pixel. In Campaign, aim one ball, free the trapped ones and break each creature's Golden Pixel as fast as you can for up to three stars.

Is my progress saved?

Yes, automatically, on your device. Deleting the app deletes its progress.

Does it need the internet, or have ads or purchases?

No. Pixel Safari plays fully offline, with no ads, no accounts and no in-app purchases.

The game feels slow on my device

Huge swarms of balls are hard work for older devices. Turning off Screen shake in Settings helps a little, and the game automatically lightens its effects on phones.
