How do I play?

Swipe across the letters in the wheel to make a word. If it fits the crossword, it is stamped into the grid. Find every word to finish the level. Tap the middle of the wheel to mix the letters when you need a fresh look. On a computer you can also type the letters and press Enter.

I found a real word, but it didn't go in the grid.

It's an extra word. It goes into the jar, and every 10 extra words pay 25 gems. Words that are too rare or not suitable aren't accepted.

I'm stuck. Is there a hint?

Yes. The bulb (100 gems) reveals a random letter in the grid, and the hammer (200 gems) reveals the letter in a cell you choose. You earn gems from the jar, the gift bar (a gift every few levels), one daily wheel spin a day and every edition you finish.

What are editions and the Stamp Album?

Levels come in named editions of 4 to 16 levels. When you finish an edition, its illustrated stamp is pressed into your Stamp Album and you earn gems. Six editions make a volume, and finishing a volume pays a bigger reward. Tap the stamp next to the level circle on the home screen to open the album.

Can I lose a level?

No. There's no timer, no lives and no way to fail; take as long as you like.

How many levels are there?

Thousands in every language, and after the last one the levels keep coming, endlessly.

Can I play in another language?

Yes. Open Settings → Language and choose from 36 languages. Each language has its own words and its own levels, and the Game remembers your level in each one.

Can I turn off music, sounds or animations?

Yes. Tap the gear for Settings: Sound, Music and Reduced motion each have their own switch.

Is my progress saved? Does it need the internet?

Your progress, gems, stamps and settings are saved automatically on your device. Deleting the app deletes its progress. Word Stamp plays fully offline. In a browser on bossgames.io it saves in that browser.

A word is wrong, missing or shouldn't be there.

Please email us the language, the level number and the word. We review word lists by hand.

Privacy

Word Stamp sends anonymous gameplay statistics, which you can turn off at Settings → Share anonymous stats. Read the privacy policy.
