DMCA and copyright
Effective 1 November 2026
We make our own games and take copyright seriously, ours and everyone else's. If you think something on bossgames.io uses your work without permission, tell us and we'll look into it. This page explains how, under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Sending a takedown notice
To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must be in writing, sent to the agent above, and include all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature (a typed full name is fine), as the copyright owner or as a person authorised to act for the owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed. If one notice covers several works on our site, a representative list is enough.
- Identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it: the page address (URL), the game, and where in the game it appears (for example the level or screen).
- Your contact details: name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use of the material in the way you describe isn't authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act for the owner.
A notice that leaves out some of these elements may not be valid. If it substantially meets the requirements, we may contact you to fill the gaps.
2. What happens next
We aim to confirm that we've received your notice and to act on a complete notice within 2 business days. When a notice is valid, we remove or disable access to the material quickly. Where someone else provided the material (for example the developer of a game we host), we'll tell them and may send them a copy of the notice, including your contact details, so they can respond.
3. Counter-notices
If material you provided was removed and you believe that happened by mistake or because it was misidentified, you can send a counter-notice to the same agent under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and where it appeared before.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, postal address and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the US federal district court for your address (or, if you're outside the United States, any judicial district in which Logic Fusion, LLC may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice, or their agent.
When we receive a valid counter-notice, we'll send a copy to the person who sent the original notice. We'll then restore the material no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after we received the counter-notice, unless the original sender tells us first that they have filed a court action to stop the infringement.
4. Repeat infringers
It is our policy to end, in appropriate circumstances, the access of anyone who repeatedly infringes copyright. That includes removing a hosted developer's games, and closing player accounts if we add them.
5. False claims
Please be sure before you send a notice or counter-notice. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and lawyers' fees. If you're not sure whether something infringes your rights, consider asking a lawyer first.
