Sniffdoku Privacy Policy

Effective October 31, 2026 · Sniffdoku for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android, Windows and the web

In short: Sniffdoku asks for no personal information. There are no accounts, and your saved game stays on your own device. The Game sends anonymous gameplay statistics and basic diagnostics to help us improve it, and you can turn this off in Settings. We never sell or share this data, and we don't use it for advertising.

1. Who we are

Sniffdoku is published by Logic Fusion, LLC ("Logic Fusion", "we", "us"). This policy explains how Sniffdoku (the "Game") handles information. If you have questions, contact us at support@logicfusion.net.

2. Information we collect

The Game never asks for your name, email address or an account. It does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, precise location or other device data.

It does not include any third-party advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking software. It does not use your device's advertising identifier or any hardware identifier.

The Game plays fully offline. It sends us anonymous gameplay statistics and basic diagnostics; they wait on your device and are sent when you have a connection. They are:

Gameplay:
- that the Game was opened, and how long a session lasted;
- level progress (levels started, solved or failed, and the time taken);
- game events such as a hint used or a tutorial step finished.
Technical details: the platform, the store the Game came from, the Game's version, the type of device (phone, tablet or desktop), and the operating system.
Approximate location: country, region and city, worked out by our host from your connection. Your IP address is not stored.
A random install id: a random code the Game creates for itself when first opened, plus a new random code for each session. They are not made from anything on your device and are not linked to your identity.

Why: only to improve the games, for example to see which levels are too hard and where players stop.

Where and how long: the statistics are kept in our own database on Cloudflare, our hosting provider. Individual records are deleted after 180 days; after that we keep only daily totals (counts).

Not sold or shared: we do not sell these statistics or share them with anyone, and we do not use them for advertising. There is no ad tracking, and there are no advertising identifiers.

Turning it off: use the switch at Settings → Share anonymous stats. It is on by default. When it is off, the Game sends nothing and deletes any statistics still waiting on your device.

Browser version: if you play in a browser on bossgames.io, the website counts visits and game sessions as described in the site privacy page, with no install id and no cookies.

3. Information stored on your device

To let you pick up where you left off, the Game saves your progress and settings in its private storage on your device. That includes:

your current and highest level, your best result per level, your hints and whether you have finished the tutorial;
your sound, music, vibration, colour-blind help, reduced-motion and language settings.

This data stays on your device; we cannot see or access it.

If you use device backups or sync (for example iCloud Backup or Android backup), your saved progress may be included in those backups. That is handled by Apple, Google or Microsoft under their own privacy policies, not by us.

The Game also keeps the random install id, your choice for the stats switch and any statistics waiting to be sent in its private storage on your device.

4. Information others may collect

Apple. When you download the Game, Apple processes your download under its own privacy policy. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may give us aggregated, anonymous statistics (such as the number of installs or crashes). These never identify you to us.
Google, Microsoft and Amazon. If you get the Game from Google Play, the Microsoft Store or the Amazon Appstore, that company processes the download under its own privacy policy. It may give us aggregated, anonymous statistics (such as installs or crashes). These never identify you to us.
Our website host. This website, bossgames.io, is served by Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We do not use this data to identify or track visitors, and the website sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

5. If you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to answer you, keep it only as long as needed for that, and never sell it or use it for marketing. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

6. Children

Sniffdoku is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). The statistics described in section 2 contain no name, email address or other contact details and are for our internal use only. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU and UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your personal information.

The Game asks for no personal information, and the statistics in section 2 are not linked to your identity, so we normally cannot tell which records are yours. We use them on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the games. You can object at any time with the switch at Settings → Share anonymous stats, and individual records are deleted automatically after 180 days.

For any email you have sent us, contact support@logicfusion.net to use these rights. We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined in California law.

8. Deleting your data

Deleting the Game removes its saved progress from your device. Statistics already sent are not linked to you; individual records are deleted after 180 days and only daily totals remain.

9. Security

Your saved game never leaves your device through the Game, so it is protected by your device's own security. Statistics are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. If a change is significant, we will also say so in the Game's release notes.
